HAMILTON — An Aubrey Korst goal-line dash in the third quarter proved the difference in rainy conditions as the Broncs secured a 7-0 championship win over East Helena.
The first ever Class A state champs, Hamilton was supported by a stingy defensive performance that held the Vigilantes in check throughout the afternoon.
The Broncs, who played host to the tournament this year, defeated Lockwood yesterday 29-0 to advance to the championship game. East Helena meanwhile won 26-12 against Hardin to open their tournament run before defeating Glendive 18-14 in the semifinal.
