The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) is warning drivers of temporary road closures and traffic modifications for several activities from Thursday, October 2 through Sunday, October 5.

Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 northbound right lane closures from North Avenue to Cold Spring Lane 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. (graffiti removal)
Penn Street closed between Pratt and Lombard Streets 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. (crane operation)
Monument Street closed between Broadway and Rutland Avenue 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (crane operation)
Linwood Avenue closed between Eastern Avenue and Pratt Street 8 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday (special event –Fiesta Baltimore 2025)
Curb lane closures along Washington Place/N. Charles Street between Mt. Vernon Place and W. Franklin Street, and in front of 1 W. Hamilton Street 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (special event)

Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 northbound left lane closures Fayette Street to North Avenue 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. (repair work)
Linwood Avenue closed between Baltimore Street and Eastern Avenue 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (special event – staging for the Fiesta Baltimore 2025 Parade)
Traffic modifications for the Baltimore Farmers’ Market, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga St. between Holliday and Gay Streets, go into effect on Sunday, October 5 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.:
Holliday Street closed from E. Pleasant to E. Saratoga Streets
Pleasant Street closed at Holliday Street
Hillen Street center lane closure between Front Street and Fallsway
Traffic modifications for the Sowebo Landmark 5K, which kicks off from Union Square Park, go into effect Sunday, October 5 from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.:
Gilmore Street between W. Lombard and Hollins Streets
Hollins Street between S. Gilmore and S. Stricker Streets
The race will start along Hollins Street at the intersection of Stricker Street. Participants will proceed east on Hollins Street, right on Schroeder Street, left on Lemmon Street, right on Poppleton Street, left on Pratt Street, right on Parkin Street, right on McHenry Street, left on Poppleton Street, right on Ramsay Street, left on James Street, and left on Bayard Street, to enter Carroll Park at the Washington Blvd entrance. Participants will follow marked trails in the park up to the Mount Clare Mansion and exit the park by turning right on Bayard Street, left on James Street, right on Ramsay Street, left on Poppleton Street, right on McHenry Street, left on Parkin Street, left on Pratt Street, right on Schroeder, left on Hollins Street to finish in front of the HL Menken House.
In addition, one lane of traffic will be closed for runners along the race route where possible. Temporary traffic stops may be implemented during the race for the participants’ safety. Drivers are encouraged to watch for pedestrians and use alternate routes.
Traffic modifications for the game at M&T Bank Stadium go into effect Sunday, October 5 starting at 10 a.m.:
The northbound Russell Street Service Drive alongside M&T Bank Stadium will be closed between West and Hamburg Streets prior to and during the game
The Hamburg Street Bridge will be temporarily closed between Leaden Hall and Paca Streets for game ingress. Once the game begins, the closures will be removed until the start of the fourth quarter for egress
The Ostend Street Bridge will be temporarily closed between Sharp and Warner Streets for game ingress. Once the game begins, the closures will be removed until the start of the fourth quarter for egress
A special traffic pattern will be temporarily installed along Warner Street between the Ostend Street Bridge and Stockholm Street for ingress and railroad crossings
Special traffic patterns will be installed along Warner Street, Alluvion Street, Worcester Street, and Bayard Street for egress at the start of the fourth quarter
Hamburg Street closure between Hanover and Charles Streets for egress at the start of the fourth quarter
No southbound travel will be permitted along Hanover Street between Henrietta and Hamburg Streets at the start of the fourth quarter. All traffic will be diverted onto Henrietta Street for east or westbound travel
In addition, Warner Street will be closed between Worcester and W. Ostend Streets due to construction. A special traffic pattern will be put in place along Warner Street for fans entering and leaving the stadium. On gamedays, a one-way ingress (northbound) and egress (southbound) lane will be implemented on Warner Street, along with a pedestrian walkway.
