The iRobot Roomba is a versatile cleaning appliance that works on both hard surfaces and carpet. It has an edge-sweeping brush that spins and allows it to clean up debris even in small corners and a steel brush roll in the middle that cleans more dirt, dust and debris. It also has special technology that allows it to map out and memorize your home’s layout.
This cordless option clocks in at 6 pounds, making it one of the lighter options you can buy. ) It has an anti-hair wrap that makes it easier to clean up pet hair without it blocking the brush bar. Plus, it comes with a crevice tool and a brush tool for cleaning upholstered surfaces.
Disinfectants and other cleaning essentials
Yes, these disinfectant wipes can clean soiled surfaces like desks, tables and chairs and bathroom sinks, but, since they’re disinfectants, they go a step further and also kill bacteria that can make you sick. I use these often and love that they come in a portable package that fits in my work tote. Plus, the scent isn’t too strong and overpowering.
