Max Verstappen Declared He ‘Won’t Care’ About Results After Shock Pole at Azerbaijan GP

Max Verstappen is having a phenomenal run in the past couple of weeks. After a record-breaking victory at the Italian GP, the reigning world champion has clinched pole position for the Azerbaijan GP this weekend. Though Verstappen insists that a day will come when he won’t really pay attention to his past results.

The Red Bull star is one of the most successful F1 drivers in history. Max Verstappen shattered several records over the years and has bagged four back-to-back titles. The Azerbaijan GP pole lap was an incredible performance as Verstappen managed to stay out of trouble. On the other hand, his rivals made some big mistakes.

Max Verstappen was asked whether he would remember this to be one of his better performances after the session. The 27-year-old made it clear once he gets older, he would simply not care about what he achieved in the sport. Verstappen was likely joking with this answer, after all he has worked so hard throughout his life to win in F1. However, considering his old-school nature, the Dutchman might as well be serious.

I think when I’m older I won’t really care.
