Tom Brady is coming out of retirement — kind of.
The NFL legend announced Monday the creation of the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, a tournament that will be played in Saudi Arabia with fellow league stars and coaches set to participate.
Brady’s announcement came before the Las Vegas Raiders’ Monday night home game, with Saudi Arabian sports promoter Turki Alalshikh standing alongside.
Along with Brady, Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, CeeDee Lamb, Maxx Crosby, Sauce Gardner, Brock Bowers, Tyreek Hill and Myles Garrett are among the confirmed active players involved.
Rob Gronkowski, Brady’s former star tight end teammate, will also play, with Odell Beckham Jr. on the list, too.
Additional participants will be announced in the coming months and will feature “stars across sports and entertainment,” per Fanatics.

Pete Carroll, Sean Payton and Kyle Shanahan will coach the three teams set to square off during Riyadh Season on March 21, 2026.
The tournament will comprise three teams of eight players facing off in a round-robin tournament with the top two teams advancing to the championship game.
The games will follow Olympic-style flag football rules, a sport that will return in the 2028 Los Angeles Games. There will be a 50-yard field with two 10-yard end zones, a 5-on-5 format and two 20-minute halves.
FOX Sports and Tubi will air the games as comedian and actor Kevin Hart will serve as host.
Brady, a minority owner of the Raiders, last played in the NFL in 2022.
