Taylor Swift Admitted She Watched 1 of Bad Bunny's 'Happy Gilmore 2' Scenes 5 Times

Taylor Swift watched Happy Gilmore 2 to see Travis Kelce, but she was even more captivated by Bad Bunny. Both Kelce and Bad Bunny, who was born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, appeared in the Adam Sandler movie. Swift said Martínez’s acting skills impressed her. She admitted she watched one of his scenes again and again.
Taylor Swift said she watched Bad Bunny’s ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ scene repeatedly
Both Kelce and Martínez appeared in Happy Gilmore 2. Swift said the latter blew her away in the film.
“Bad Bunny?” she said on Kelce’s New Heights podcast. “He absolutely delighted me in that movie.”
She said one of his scenes in particular stood out to her. It delighted her so much that she watched it on repeat.
“His comedic timing is so good,” she said. “His character name is Oscar, and it’s like, his brother gets hit by the golf ball. And they look over and they’re like, ‘Who did that? You did that?’ And there’s a face that Bad Bunny makes, and they do the kind of like the pan or zoom. I was like, ‘Who thought of that? How did they know he could be that way!’ I watched it five times.”
Overall, she had nothing but praise for his part in the film.
“He’s so funny. He’s so good,” she said. “I felt so much for his character.”
Taylor Swift’s fiancé appeared in the film alongside Bad Bunny
Kelce also made an appearance in the film. Adam Sandler had nothing but good things to say about him.
“Travis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s like the guys I grew up with. When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say.”
Kelce also said he enjoyed the experience of working on the film.
“I’ll tell you what, that was a dream come true. I thought SNL was going to be the peak of my acting and showman or entertainment career,” he said on The Pat McAfee Show. “Working with Happy Gilmore himself, the Sandman and Happy Productions, it was off the chain.”
Bad Bunny spoke about acting
Though Martínez’s focus is primarily on music, he has acted in several projects. He worked on Happy Gilmore 2 shortly after acting in Caught Stealing.
“I’m always going to make music, but I’d spend some time just making films and dedicating myself to acting,” he told Rolling Stone. “I think the way I worked it out, when those two movies get released — when people see them, they’ll say, ‘Wow, this guy is really acting.’”
He said that he hopes people see his filmCassandro. In it, he plays the assistant and love interest to Gael García Bernal’s character.
“In that one, it was more of a role,” he said. “But not a lot of people saw that the way they saw Bullet Train, which was on Netflix and had Brad Pitt. I would love people to see [Cassandro], though, because you can see it’s more of a character. And in these two, it’s the same: You can see I’m working and acting. It’s like, ‘Damn, this is a character. This isn’t Bad Bunny.’”
