Television’s biggest night is set to become even more nostalgic and star-studded. CBS and the Television Academy have announced the full lineup of presenters for the 77th Emmy Awards, which will air on Sunday, September 14. Hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze, the ceremony will be broadcast live on both coasts from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on CBS and also stream on Paramount+.
The lineup brings together Emmy nominees, past winners, and stars of new and returning shows. Among the most exciting highlights is a reunion between Gilmore Girls leads Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel. The beloved mother-daughter duo will appear together as the series celebrates its 25th anniversary, giving fans a nostalgic moment to look forward to.
Stephen Colbert and Sydney Sweeney Among Big Names
Stephen Colbert is set to take the stage just months after CBS canceled The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, making his appearance particularly notable. He will be joined by breakout Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney, who continues to stay in the spotlight following her roles in Euphoria and The White Lotus. Sweeney has been promoting multiple projects, including Christy, which premiered at TIFF, while her hit HBO show Euphoria is not expected to return until 2026.
Sweeney won’t be the only Euphoria star in the spotlight. Colman Domingo, currently nominated for Four Seasons, and Eric Dane, who recently received overwhelming support after revealing his ALS diagnosis, are also on the presenter list.
‘Wednesday’ and ‘Law & Order’ Stars Join the Stage
The Emmys will also see presenters from some of television’s most iconic and current franchises. Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones, fresh from the success of Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2, are expected to bring gothic flair to the night.
Meanwhile, NBC’s Law & Order franchise is also well represented. Mariska Hargitay could reunite onstage with longtime friend Christopher Meloni, with Tony Goldwyn also in the mix to highlight all three current Law & Order series. Their appearance coincides with the 35th anniversary of the original show.
Other major names rounding out the presenters include Charlie Hunnam and Evan Peters — connecting Netflix’s upcoming Monster: The Ed Gein Story with its acclaimed predecessor — as well as Angela Bassett, Jennifer Coolidge, Tina Fey, Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Vergara, Jude Law, and more.
With such a diverse group of Hollywood powerhouses, the 77th Emmys promises to be more than just an award ceremony, it will be a celebration of television’s past, present, and future.
