Is the mayor of Flavortown giving up his ties to Florida?

Food Network star and celebrity chef Guy Fieri finally sold his waterfront home in Lake Worth Beach earlier this past summer, after reducing the price by $1.75 million.

He first listed the secluded 6,000-square-foot Bella Vista Avenue home for sale in 2023 for $8.75 million. About 28% of Palm Beach County single-family homes were forced to drop prices in January 2025, according to the online brokerage firm Redfin. That increased to 30% in April.

Here’s what to know.

Who bought Guy Fieri’s house in Palm Beach County?

The buyers of Fieri’s house are Las Vegas restaurateurs Frank Bonanno and his wife, Betty Pellegrino Bonanno, according to Palm Beach County official records.

Frank Bonanno is president of Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group. His first forays into the culinary industry included the 1976 creation of the Famous Chocolate Chip Cookie Co., which was eventually sold to the Mrs. Fields cookie empire.

Fifth Avenue operates more than 40 restaurants in the Las Vegas area, according to its website.

What are the features of Fieri’s Lake Worth home?

According to a previous listing from Zillow, the two-story, block and stucco house at 10 Bella Vista Ave., Lake Worth, is just under 6,000 square feet on a 0.29-acre lot with six bedrooms and five full bathrooms. It sits on a corner with 210 feet of direct waterfront intracoastal frontage.

The Fieri home features an outdoor kitchen, an elevator, a pool with spa, a boat lift and a private dock that can accommodate a yacht.

Annual HOA fees are $3,000. Tampa-area Realtor Charlie Bodine of the Real Estate Firm of Florida is representing Fieri in the sale.

How much did they pay for Guy Fieri’s home?

After Fieri listed it for sale in 2023 for $8.75 million, it sold in January for $7 million.

The price is still nearly double what Fieri originally paid for, buying the home for $3.9 million in March 2021. Fieri added new air conditioners and upgraded the spa and pool with new tile, a pool heater and exterior speakers after moving in.

Does Guy Fieri still own property in Florida?

Fieri still owns a property he purchased for $7.3 million on Singer Island in Riviera Beach in June 2023. The Mediterranean-style waterfront home is on a corner lot with 230 feet of waterfrontage along the Intracoastal Waterway and a canal.

The home is not homesteaded, a designation that limits property tax increases when the owner declares it as their primary residence.

Does Guy Fieri like Florida?

Fieri is a staple in the Palm Beach community.

“Even a cloudy day in Florida is an awesome day,” Fieri said at the opening of the Chicken Guy! location in Winter Park. “I will be in Florida way more than you know.”

Over the years, Fieri has filmed at multiple restaurants in the Sunshine State for his shows. As of 2025, more than 100 Florida restaurants have been featured on Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.”

Four of Fieri’s 18 “Chicken Guy” chicken tender restaurant locations are in Florida: Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, Miami, Wesley Chapel and Winter Park. Fieri also runs Flavortown Kitchen, a delivery-only restaurant available in Florida, and his food can even be found on cruises.

Guy’s Burger Joint and Guy’s Pig & Anchor are available on various Carnival Cruise liners, which sail out of Jacksonville, Miami, Port Canaveral and Tampa.

Fieri also recently celebrated his son Hunter Fieri’s graduation from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, in May. Hunter earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration
