Ocean City wins 3rd straight game, plus other field hockey, volleyball results from Wednesday

Lyla Clark scored a goal and assisted on another to lead the Ocean City High School field hockey team to a 2-0 victory over Delsea Regional in a nonconference game Wednesday.
Meghan Berns scored in the first quarter for the Red Raiders (5-3-1), who have now won three straight games. Devin Dolka made five saves.
Kaelyn Brady made six for Delsea (7-4).
Holy Spirit 2, Mainland Reg. 2: The game ended in a tie.
Taylor Lyons scored both goals off assists from Emily Frugoli for Holy Spirit (3-5-2). Lia Baldino made nine saves.
Callie Bean and Helen Malia each scored for Mainland (0-10-1). Talia DiDomenico assisted on a goal. Isabella Saad made nine saves.
Hammonton 1, Middle Twp. 0: Jenna Vivadelli scored the game’s lone goal in the first quarter.
Hannah Hines made one save for Hammonton (9-1).
Zoe Hagan made four for Middle (1-5-1).
Vineland 2, Paul VI 1: Sidney Cronk scored both of the Fighting Clans’ goals.
Chloe Morvay and Lauren Hullihen assisted on a goal. Giada Levari made 11 saves for Vineland (8-0).
Egg Harbor Twp. 1, Cedar Creek 1: The game ended in a tie.
Avery Bird scored for the Eagles (3-5-2). Samantha Torres made seven saves.
Zoey Holmstrom scored off an assist from Morgan Sanders for Cedar Creek (8-1-2). Kallyn O’Kane made 19 saves.
Southern Reg. 9, Brick Memorial 0: Kaedyn Lipowski, Mackenzie Sininsky and Faith Bruther each scored two goals for the Rams (8-2).
Leah Newton scored and assisted on another. Paige Shaw and Sabrina English each scored.
Pinelands Reg. 2, Manchester Twp. 1: Alexandria Worthley scored the Wildcats’ two goals.
Ava Gialloreto and Malia Rivera each assisted on a goal. Rebecca Griffiths made eight saves for Pinelands (3-4-1).
Millville 2, Lower Cape May Reg. 1: The Thunderbolts improved to 7-1. The Caper Tigers fell to 5-4-1. No further information was available.
Lacey Twp. 0, Middletown North 0: The game ended in a scoreless tie.
Tabytha Wedderman made seven saves for Lacey (1-6-2).
Girls volleyball
Our Lady of Mercy 2, Absegami 0: The Villagers (11-2) won by set scores 25-21, 26-24.
Emma Eddis finished with 17 digs, nine service points and six aces. Juliet Felicetti added 12 assists, nine service points, seven aces and five digs. Khalia Lewis led with six kills. Natalie D’Ottavio contributed seven service points and five kills.
Manasquan 2, Lacey Twp. 0: Manasquan (6-7) won by set scores of 25-19, 25-11.
Olivia Gonzalez and Ella Ring each finished with six digs. Ava Lingelbach added six assists and three digs.
