Aliyah Boston’s Beef With Caitlin Clark in Fever Locker Room Revealed

When the Indiana Fever selected Caitlin Clark with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 draft, their goal was to pair her with their 2023 No. 1 pick, Aliyah Boston, and create a potent one-two punch.

Boston came in after leading South Carolina to its 2nd NCAA national championship, and then spearheaded an 8-win improvement over their 2022 record.

With Clark coming in, they won an additional 7 games, as she and her center created an effective pick-and-roll option on their way to leading the Fever into the playoffs for the first time since the 2016 season.

This season, the tandem was supposed to help their team compete for a championship. However, the point guard’s injuries dampened hopes even though they have now fought their way to the semifinals.

Enough instances show how Clark and Boston are as teammates both on and off the court. Both look out for each other and have fantastic chemistry. However, it was not all great when the Iowa sensation first arrived, as the 6′ 5″ center revealed to Sue Bird.

I was like, ‘Caitlin, I’m like really upset that you did what you did in that Final Four game… You didn’t have to do all that. You did not have to go for 40 on our dome.’

The 3-time All-Star was referring to when her now Indiana Fever teammate dropped 41 points on Boston’s South Carolina in the 2023 NCAA Final Four.
