Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is finally here! The romantic-comedy, directed by Shashank Khaitan, clashed with Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 on October 2. The initial feedback for SSKTK has been fairly positive. For the unversed, Varun and Janhvi’s film follows the story of Sunny Sanskari and Tulsi Kumari teaming up to break their ex-partners’ Vikram and Ananya’s marriage, hoping they win their love. In Shashank Khaitan’s film, Sunny Sanskari and Tulsi Kumari team up to break Vikram and Ananya’s (Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra) marriage. When Ananya dumps Sunny and he learns that she is marrying Vikram’s ex-girlfriend Tulsi, he comes up with a plan. Sunny insists Tulsi to travel with him to Vikram-Ananya’s wedding venue and break their marriage. Although initially reluctant, Tulsi agrees to be a part of Sunny’s plan, in order to win Vikram’s love back. Sunny, too, is hopeful that he will win back Ananya’s love. The scenes, leading up to the climax, highlight Sunny and Tulsi creating awkward, funny and heartfelt situations to make Vikram and Ananya realise who their true partners are. And when Vikram and Ananya realise that they aren’t meant for each other, comes a major twist! Does Tulsi get married to Vikram? Spoiler alert! The surprising and unexpected twist comes towards the climax when Sunny learns that Tulsi had rejected Vikram’s proposal. The reason? Tulsi is equally in love with Sunny. Then, who did Vikram eventually marry? That’s the twist no one saw coming.
