Prime Video has unveiled its upcoming comedy series The Pyramid Scheme, produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), with a slated release in 2026. The announcement came via the streaming platform’s official Instagram account on Wednesday, accompanied by the first stills from the set.

Created by Shreyansh Pandey, who co-directs the show alongside Ashish Shukla, The Pyramid Scheme will see Paramvir Cheema, known for Black Warrant, and Ranvir Shorey in prominent roles. Veteran actors Shekhar Suman, Aanjjan Srivastav, Smita Bansal, and Alfia Jafry also form part of the ensemble cast.
According to the official press release, the series revolves around Goldy, a restless young man whose attempt to amass wealth through a multi-level marketing business spirals into chaos. The narrative explores how his pursuit of quick riches puts not only his future but also the love and trust of his close-knit joint family at risk.
This collaboration marks another partnership between TVF and Prime Video, following their critically acclaimed ventures such as Panchayat and Aspirants.
Talking about Ranvir Shorey, he made his film debut with Ek Chhotisi Love Story (2002) and has since appeared in several commercially successful films, including Jism (2003), Lakshya (2004), Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. (2007), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Angrezi Medium (2020), and Tiger 3 (2023). In addition to his box-office hits, Shorey has been part of critically acclaimed projects such as Khosla Ka Ghosla (2006), Traffic Signal (2007), Bheja Fry (2007), Mithya (2008), Titli (2014), and A Death In The Gunj (2016). His performance in Sonchiriya (2019) earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Beyond films, Shorey has also hosted television shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 (2015) and Chalo Koi Baat Nahi (2021). He has made notable appearances in digital series, including Rangbaaz (2018), Sacred Games (2018–2019), High (2020), Hasmukh (2020), Metro Park (2021), Tabbar (2021), and Sunflower (2021–2024). In 2024, he participated in Bigg Boss OTT 3, finishing as the second runner-up.
