New School Opens In Harford County

For more than 10 years, the school has worked with students and families in Harford County with individualized academic, behavioral, social and emotional support. There are 13 buildings in Maryland that are High Road Schools, which partner with SESI to offer special education and alternative education services.
“The High Road School of Harford County serves students in grades 1st through 12th. The school maintains small class sizes, which allows teachers, therapists and staff to provide individualized support and develop connections with students in a structured and supportive environment. Students have the ability to stay at the school until age 21,” spokesperson Jennifer Leckstrom told Patch.
Currently, 50 students attend the school with a capacity of 65 total. Students are able to participate in club-like activities during their school day when time allows.
The new school location can be found at 838 Old Philadelphia Road in Aberdeen.
