A brand new season of Married At First Sight UK is just days away, as new bride and grooms say “I do” to a complete stranger.
This season is said to be a “memorable” one with plenty of firsts as it returns to E4 on September 21 at 9pm, with a scheduling shake up. It is now airing from Sunday to Wednesday instead of the usual Monday to Thursday.
An explosive trailer has given fans a sneak peak as anticipation continues to build, showing horrified guests and grand entrances.
One couple was also seen hitting their first hurdle days into their married life.
Ahead of the brand new season, we’ve taken a look back at the 2024 cast and which couples, if any, are still together.
Charlie and Eve
Charlie and Eve are not together. Despite forming an instant connection on their wedding day, it wasn’t long before disagreements started. Their honeymoon was filled with fiery arguments as Eve admitted she needed her space.
The pair left the show before the second commitment ceremony. Watching the show back, Charlie took to Instagram to say it had been a “tough yet rewarding experience” as she added: “I want to thank my friends, my girlfriend, my family, my supporters, the public and the viewers for the unwavering support and love you’ve shown me from start to finish. I couldn’t have done it without all of you!”
After the show, both appeared to have moved in in new relationships.
Richelle and Orson
Richelle and Orson are not together. They too saw sparks form on their wedding day, but their honeymoon soon came crashing down following a series of disagreements.
Fiery Richelle became annoyed by his talking about prior heartbreak. As their distance continued to grow, Orson grew closer with another bride on the show, Hannah, who was also facing difficulties in her marriage to Stephen.
Hannah and Stephen
Hannah and Stephen are not together. They saw tensions rise on their honeymoon following Stephen’s admission he had children of his own. They continued to argue as Stephen became worried Hannah would tell a secret on camera, leading to more arguments.
Hannah was later said to have been “flirting” with other cast members and kissed Orson, leading to an explosive commitment ceremony. She was seen arriving at the reunion with another husband, Ryan, leading to yet more explosive rows.
Sionainn and Ryan
Sionainn and Ryan are not together. It came after a huge argument off screen, which came as a surprise to fans, resulting in the pair ending their relationship and quitting the show.
Fans may also remember the cheating claims between Ryan and Hannah. Sionainn told the brides on the show Ryan had been “faking” his feelings.
However, after the show, Ryan took to Instagram to say it was an “intense and an emotional rollercoaster”, adding he was “starting to develop real feelings”.
Ross and Sacha
Ross and Sacha are not together. Despite their relationship appearing to grow, with Ross, the show’s first deaf groom, even relocating for love, their relationship soon came to an end after the show.
Ross later went official with a new partner as Sacha claimed he had ended their relationship via a text. They removed one another on social media accounts and did not appear to be on friendly terms.
Alex and Holly
Alex and Holly are not together. Alex’s “wife swapping” comments during the experiment became known to Holly resulting in tensions rising and a huge argument breaking out at the dinner party.
However, their rollercoaster relationship was up and down with the pair ending things before appearing to rekindle, and arguments seen on social media.
Holly is now reportedly dating is dating Tiktok personality Aaron Summers
Nathan and Lacey
Nathan and Lacey are not together. They became fan sweethearts despite an initial awkward blunder on their wedding day.
However, their marriage came to an end after the show after their relationship was said to have “fizzled out”.
Nathan is now in a relationship with former Love Island star Abi Moores with the pair appearing very loved on social media and attending showbiz events together.
Emma and Caspar
Emma and Caspar are not together. Caspar admitted Emma reminded him of his estranged twin sister who he did not like.
He also later admitted he wasn’t attracted to Emma as he confessed he was not attracted to someone with curves. However, despite public backlash at the time, Emma continued to post heartwarming things about Caspar on social media.
Following the show she wrote on Instagram she was proud “Caspar, for giving me the opportunity, support and push to make myself be uncomfortable in personal growth.” She later admitted in an interview with Cosmopolitan she had been in contact with Caspar’s sister
Kristina and Kieran
Kristina and Kieran are not together. Despite initially appearing to be a perfect match, tensions soon started to rise.
Kieran admitted he had concerns over being with someone who battled severe PMDD. They later left the show and it was soon revealed Kieran had been dating someone else for two weeks post experiment. During an explosive reunion, fans saw Kristina in tears.
Amy and Luke
Amy and Luke are not together. Despite working through their relationship, fans will remember the iconic moment Amy wore a black dress for their final vows as she confirmed the end of their marriage.
She said: “I stand here in front of you today wearing black to mourn its death. RIP.” Despite this, Luke hoped for a reconnection at the reunion dinner – but things did not quite go to plan.
Polly and Adam
Polly and Adam are not together. They ended things during the final vows after their time on the show was filled with heated arguments.
Fans will remember the Adam admitting his bride was not his usual time, resulting in tears. Despite working on their marriage, Polly and Adam saw a heated reunion.
According to reporters, Polly moved on with a hunky new man after starting fresh in Sydney.
