NORMAN — Brayden Allen, a three-star wide receiver recruit in the class of 2026, announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Wednesday.
Allen was previously committed to Tulane before decommitting on Monday. OU fended off Colorado to earn his pledge.
A 6-foot-1, 170-pound prospect, Allen hails from Lafayette Christian Academy in Lafayette, Louisiana. Allen is ranked the No. 20 player in Louisiana, the No. 84 receiver nationally and the No. 578 overall player in the country for 2026, per the 247Sports Composite ratings.
Allen reeled in 55 catches for 1,155 yards and 10 touchdowns during his junior season last fall. He also participates in the long jump, triple jump and the 100-meter dash in track and field.
Allen is the 20th commitment of OU’s 2026 recruiting class and the third receiver, joining four-star California prospect Daniel Odom and three-star Tulsa Rejoice Christian standout Xavier Okwufulueze.
OU’s 2026 class is ranked inside the top 25 nationally in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings.
