    Welcome to our federal politics live blog! I’m Courtney Gould and I’ll be guiding you through the morning.

    Well, the focus this morning will is back on energy after Shadow Energy and Emissions Reduction Minister Dan Tehan left the door open to a nuclear policy revival following his fact-finding mission to the United States (more on that soon).

    Elsewhere, it’s another mixed bag of a day. So let’s just jump in and hope the river of news takes us closer to Taylor Swift’s new album.
