Ram Kapoor Uses iPhone Air To Poke Fun At ‘Mr Ozempic’ Trolls And It’s Hilarious

Ram Kapoor, known for his stellar performances in Mistry, Kasamh Se and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, stunned fans with his jaw-dropping transformation last year. He shed an impressive 55 kilos, dropping from 140 kg to 85 kg with intense workout and diet. But along with praise for his incredible transformation came rumours about him using the controversial weight-loss drug Ozempic.
While Kapoor has repeatedly denied using the drug, he’s decided to take a witty jab on online trolls. In a recent Instagram post, the actor shared a photo of himself alongside the all-new iPhone Air, Apple’s slimmest phone yet.
Comparing his physique to the slimmest iPhone model, Ram wrote, “Since I’m apparently ‘Mr. Ozempic.’ I thought I might as well get the Ozempic iPhone!”

How did social media react?
The post quickly went viral, sparking a flurry of support and laughter across social media. Actor Anirudh Dave commented, “Bro it’s fire. Gradually looking like – Mr. Olympic … keep up the good workout.”
Fans echoed the sentiment with one saying, “Loving the sarcasm.”
“Looking Awesome Ram Sir,” a fan commented.
A user stated, “Never imagined you like this… old Ram Kapoor or new Ram Kapoor both super hit.”
“Looking extremely well! Keep shining!” an individual wrote.
Ram Kapoor denies Ozempic rumours
While the actor has denied using Ozempic for weight loss, the actor supports its use under medical guidance. On the Humans of Bombay podcast, he clarified, “Karan Johar, me, all of us who go through this Ozempic nonsense, you know why we don’t react? It’s because we know all these people know it; they are mad.”
“Ozempic is an injection that you have to take once a week. Without a doctor, you cannot take it. ‘It’s a shortcut, it’s not natural, live your life as healthy as you can,’ they say. Why the hell would you not take a shortcut if the doctor is telling you to?” he added.
Ozempic, originally developed for type 2 diabetes, has gained popularity for its weight-loss effects, thanks to its appetite-suppressing properties. According to a report by WebMD, it helps regulate blood sugar levels by reducing hunger and slowing digestion.
Ram Kapoor’s work front
The actor was most recently seen in the comedy franchise Jolly LLB 3, alongside Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the courtroom drama tackles a legal dispute over ancestral land seized by a powerful businessman, played by Gajraj Rao. Akshay’s Jolly Mishra is hired to argue on his behalf, while Arshad’s Jolly Tyagi steps in from the other side.
The courtroom drama, brought to life by writer-director Subhash Kapoor, also stars Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Gajraj Rao in key roles. The third installment of the hit franchise brings double the drama, double the chaos, and double the fun.
