Whether one believes that Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns is better than Green Bay Packers newcomer Micah Parsons or vice versa, it is undeniable that they are two of the most feared singular defensive forces in the NFL today.
Garrett may be ahead of Parsons in terms of the overall body of work, primarily because he has been in the NFL longer; however, it’s not hard to see the latter accomplishing what the former has and will.
Garrett isn’t putting himself over Parsons or any other player in the game today. For the Browns superstar defensive end, it’s enough that he and Parsons are in the top tier.
“I think we’re two of the very best,” Garrett said, per Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal. “I think we’re two of the very best of this generation. We just got to continue to lead the way. There are definitely some other names in that conversation, but I think saying that he’s in it and that I am in it is not out of the norm.”
Can Myles Garrett lead Cleveland to upset vs. Packers in Week 3?
