Man asked 60-year-old woman to 'breastfeed' him to get back at own mum

A man who became ‘obsessed’ with a 60-year-old woman asked if she could ‘breastfeed’ him to ‘get back at his mum’. Michael Jones ‘secretly’ met up with the woman even though a court order banned him from getting in touch with her. The 32-year-old had ‘an odd fascination’ with her breasts and was ‘breastfed’ from her for 10 minutes during one encounter. Caernarfon Crown Court heard how Jones previously assaulted the woman and admitted causing grievous bodily harm without intent. In June, he was handed a 16-month jail term, suspended for 18 months, along with a restraining order banning contact with her. But he saw her three times in July, which put him in breach of the court order. He looked ‘tired’ so she left him a bottle of water, NorthWalesLive reports. They later messaged each other on Facebook and met in a park, in Caernarfon, at night. The woman said she wanted to tell Jones that their relationship was over and that he should stop contacting her. She described their encounters as a ‘mother and son’ type of relationship but he classed himself a ‘caregiver’. Jones said he had a ‘hatred towards women’ and ‘an odd fascination’ with the woman’s breasts. Days later, they met on a cycle track again. They kissed and ‘she allowed him to breast feed for 10 minutes’, the court heard Jones told her he spoke to women of her age ‘as a way of getting back at his mother’, Ms Edwards added. The woman later said she knew it was ‘strange behaviour’ but it had been part of their relationship. On another occasion, Jones rang the woman to say he was starving and asked her to come to his flat. But once she did, he would not initially let her leave. When she eventually left, the woman went out of the area for some time to stay with a friend as she was afraid of what might happen. Jones later told his probation worker about the ‘secret’ meetings in ‘concealed’ locations, the court heard. The probation officer told police. In a statement, the woman said her health had worsened due to the stress of the ordeal. She said: “I know he’s obsessed with me. I know from experience that the obsession is dangerous.” Dafydd Roberts, defending, said Jones now has a new focus because he has a girlfriend. Mr Roberts added: “While she [the woman] talks about the harm she suffered her conduct suggests she was more prepared to have this contact than she admits.” Jones does have ‘attachment problems’, Mr Roberts added. He went on: “He knows he should not have been having contact with her but he could not stop himself.” Judge Nicola Jones said the woman was ‘very complicit’ in what was going on. She told the court that Jones had mental health difficulties and other issues. Jones,of Glan Cadnant, Caernarfon, was jailed for 15 months for breaching the restraining order. The order was extended for three years until 2030.
