What they’re saying nationally after the Steelers’ crushing loss to Seahawks

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers struggled down the stretch against the Seattle Seahawks and were handed their first loss of the 2025 season. There were a lot of similar patterns that carried over from Week 1.
The Steelers were unable to slow down the Seahawks’ rushing attack, while their own run game did not get many explosives going. Perhaps looming larger, a special teams gaffe by Kaleb Johnson handed the Seahawks a free seven points, while the Steelers’ passing offense and defense sputtered.
