Amazon’s extensive range of smart home gadgets are incredibly popular in households these days, with the Alexa smart assistant helping thousands of us perform helpful tasks on a daily basis. Again, it uses the Amazon app store, so some popular apps might not be available like they are on Android or iOS. However, with a huge 48% discount, it’s an attractive buy at £129.99 . The Amazon Echo Dot is one of the more popular speakers in Amazon’s smart speaker line-up with it striking the perfect balance between price and sound quality. Its spherical design bounces sound around the room, with the Alexa smart assistant capable of taking voice commands thanks to the internal microphones. What’s great about these speakers is that they can be paired together to completely fill the home with seamless sound. That’s more achievable than ever thanks to the recent price drop, which sees the Echo Dot go from £54.99 to £29.99 . Those looking to save even more on an Alexa-enabled speaker should opt for the Echo Pop.
