Sky Sports: Newcastle Star Tino Livramento Out for 6-8 Weeks With Knee Injury

Newcastle United star Tino Livramento has been ruled out for six to eight weeks with a knee injury picked up against Arsenal, according to Sky Sports journalist Keith Downie.
The England international was forced off the pitch at St James’ Park midway through the second half with a knee problem, with a stretcher needed to help him off as he held his head in his hands.
There was an initial concern that the full-back may have suffered a serious injury, but after scans it has now been revealed to be not as bad as initially feared.

The defender has suffered an injury to his knee ligaments, and after undergoing further scans since the defeat to Arsenal and with Newcastle seeking a second opinion on the problem, it’s now believed that the player will miss around ten games for the Magpies plus the upcoming England internationals.
Livramento seemed to injure himself while competing with William Saliba for an aerial ball, but it’s been determined that he did not suffer the injury upon landing.
