The Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris has approved the sum of N449,193,400.8 for the accreditation of the College of Health Sciences, Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology,Aliero (AFUSTA).
Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the University,Mallam Mustapha Mansur Ango confirmed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi.
He explained that the money was meant for the College of Health Sciences Requirements on Accreditation .
“The Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to advancing education by approving the release of Four Hundred and Forty- Nine Million One Hundred and Ninety- Three Thousand Four Hundred Point Eight for the development of the College of Health Sciences on accreditation at Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero.
“This landmark approval, made today, 30th September 2025, fulfills the Governor’s promise to strengthen and standardize the College, enabling it to compete effectively with similar institutions nationwide.
“The University community sincerely appreciates this gesture and prays for the continued success of Governor Idris, with the hope that his administration will further position the University as a centre of academic excellence as well as to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to the good people of Kebbi State”,he said.
