A clean family entertainer, Heer Express celebrates emotions, relationships, and music

The highly anticipated Bollywood family film Heer Express premiered at CP67, Mohali. Lead actress Divita Juneja and actor Gulzar Chhabra, along with Ranjeet, Meghna Malik, and director Umesh Shukla, were present. Prominent personalities from Chandigarh and nearby areas also attended and praised the film wholeheartedly.
Audiences were moved and entertained by the film’s songs, powerful cast, and heartfelt story. Many remarked with smiles that Heer Express is truly a fantastic film, clean, emotional, and refreshing after a long time. The climax, in particular, had a profound impact. Viewers felt that the biggest strength of the film is its lead actress, Divita Juneja, who won everyone’s hearts in her very first film. Even while sharing the screen with seasoned actors like Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Mishra, Meghna Malik, and Gulshan Grover, Divita’s confidence and innocence stood out.
One guest noted that the music was memorable, and the songs stuck with them instantly. They praised Divita’s performance as so natural and strong that it’s hard to believe this is her debut. They even compared her first outing to the debuts of Ananya, Janhvi, and Alia, saying it is no way less.
Shot across India and London, the film weaves together relationships, love, and emotions. The team faced many challenges during the shoot, from back-to-back schedules, horse-riding sequences in the cold, to adjusting to foreign settings. But these efforts only added to the film’s brilliance.

Another premiere attendee commented that while veterans like Ashutosh Rana, Gulshan Grover, and Sanjay Mishra delivered their usual excellence, it was Divita Juneja’s commanding yet graceful presence that surprised everyone. “The climax proved the story had been done complete justice. I would give it a full 5 out of 5 stars. Heer Express is a clean family film, filled with entertainment and emotions for all ages. It reminds us of the value of relationships and brings families closer,” they said. Directed by Umesh Shukla, known for Oh My God and 102 Not Out, the film’s cinematography is by Sameer Arya and Akshat Sharma, with editing by Mayur Hardas. Sunil Rodrigues and Ian Van Temperly have handled action direction.
