Arsenal v Olympiacos Predicted Starting Lineups for Champions League Match Amid Odegaard Update

Arsenal and Olympiacos will go head-to-head in the Champions League on Wednesday night at the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners keen to continue their good form.
Mikel Arteta’s side opened their European campaign with a 2-0 win over Athletic Club de Bilbao in Spain thanks to goals from substitutes Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, and come into this game following a big 2-1 win over Newcastle at St James’ Park on Sunday. Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side on the other hand drew 0-0 in their first game in this competition earlier in the season, but defeated Levadiakos 3-2 at the weekend to stay top of the Greek Super Lig.
Both managers have some injury concerns heading into the game, and this is how GIVEMESPORT expect the teams to line up.
Arsenal Team News
The Gunners were able to welcome William Saliba and Martin Odegaard back to the squad recently, but both players were named on the bench as they weren’t 100% fit.
Gabriel Jesus, Noni Madueke and Kai Havertz remain long-term absentees with knee injuries, while defender Piero Hincapie has a groin problem and is a doubt for the game.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Arteta shared an update on his squad ahead of the game.
“Piero Hincapie and Noni Madueke are still out. No news on the rest.
“Yes [Odegaard is ready to start], he helped us win the game [at Newcastle].”
Arsenal Predicted XI
Arsenal Predicted XI: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Eze; Gyokeres.
Arsenal Predicted Substitutes: Setford (GK), Kepa (GK), Timber (DEF), Mosquera (DEF), Calafiori (DEF), Norgaard (MID), Merino (MID), Nwaneri (MID), Martinelli (FWD), Trossard (FWD), Dowman (FWD).
After claiming a huge, late win over Newcastle, Arteta may look to freshen his side up a little by bringing in Ben White and Myles Lewis-Skelly to his starting lineup alongside Saliba and Odegaard.
That should see £395,000-a-week trio Martinelli, Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori on the bench ahead of the weekend clash with West Ham.
Olympiacos Team News
The Greek giants travel to London looking for their first win in the competition this season, but they will be without Roman Yaremchuk and Lorenzo Scipioni through injury for the trip.
Remy Cabella and Yusuf Yazici are also unavailable after they were left out of the club’s squad list for the Champions League.
