Prashant Kishor, the poll strategist-turned-politician and founder of the political outfit Jan Suraaj Party (JSP), while speaking during an exclusive conversation with Times Now Group Editor-in-Chief Navika Kumar, gave his one-word descriptions of several prominent political leaders. Kishor described Nitish Kumar as “Paltu Ram” and called him “Kursi Kumar,” saying that Kursi’s love has finished everything. Tejashwi Yadav was identified simply as “Lalu’s son,” while Chirag Paswan was noted as a politician from Bihar who has not yet started active politics there. Pappu Yadav, he said, does not need labels on his face. Rahul Gandhi, he described as “opposition leader.” He said he has “no role in Bihar”, while Priyanka Gandhi was identified as the MP of Yavatmal. Kishor called Home Minister Amit Shah a “big leader of BJP” and noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is preparing for the next election in 2029. On his own past, Kishor spoke about his work with the UN and in health services, noting that the tipping point for entering active politics in Bihar was the COVID-19 pandemic, which revealed the plight of the people and his own sense of helplessness.
