    Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Staff of the Uzbek Consulate General in Guangzhou held a meeting with Li Xiaozhong, Chairman of the Board of one of China’s leading companies, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings (GPH), the Dunyoa gencyreported.

    At the beginning of the talks, the Uzbek side provided detailed information about the investment potential of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical industry, the favorable and secure business environment, as well as the opportunities and incentive systems available in specialized industrial zones.

    The discussions focused on prospects for expanding cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector, including the localization of the company’s production in Uzbekistan and the development of research and development activities.

    As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a business mission of the company’s delegation to Uzbekistan in November of this year.
