In mid-September, the airline unveiled limited-edition kits designed by Raven + Lily at a media preview party at Joanna Vargas Spa in New York City. The event location reflects its ties to these kits, as this major skincare line is packed into the leather goods brand.

These Raven + Lily limited edition amenity kits are available on American premium cabins on select international and transcontinental flights. The kits are said to be flying now and anticipated to do so through early 2026.

MORE FOR YOU

In an interview at the NYC media preview, American’s Chief Customer Officer Heather Garboden pointed to the Austin brand’s design and functionality as a perfect fit.

“We love that they’re women-owned. They have a beautiful product,” said Garboden.

Additionally, Garboden pointed out how their American Airlines designs stand out from standard amenity kits. Their patterns reflect a bag that can be used for other travel needs or even to be taken around town.

“These kits are great because sometimes you get them [on flights] and it’s like, what am I going to do with this. I think we’ve just taken a really different approach this time—and it’s super fun.”

Each amenity kit will contain Joanna Vargas Skin Care hand and body lotions by plus a moisturizing lip balm that is exclusive to American Airlines. Enhanced eye masks and socks are also included.

American is not entirely new to offering Joanna Vargas’ products, as the airline has carried her skincare products in their other amenity kits. The brand has become the airline’s exclusive skincare provider.
