EXCLUSIVE: Zero Gravity Management has signed writer, producer and musician Dempsey Gibson.
Rodrigo Moscoso from Zero Gravity will represent Gibson, who brings to the agency 14 TV and film projects that he has created across multiple genres ranging comedy, drama and psychological thrillers in the past seven years.
Among these is a comedy tribute to Prince titled Purple Reign. The project is currently in development with Grammy winner Deniece Williams attached.
Gibson’s other projects include comedy series Inherent Problems and Daddy Old School, comedy-drama The Dearly Departed, psychological thriller feature film Belle, a four-part series deep dive into interracial relationships titled Love in Black and White, crime drama 5YearsDown5YearsDone and political dark comedy WhiteLAND. He is also an actor.
For Moscoso, the signing comes after another client, MK McGehee, saw her genre-bending body horror feature The Red-Education of Jane Brown selected for the The Writers Lab 2025, a program supported by Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and Natalie Portman.
Zero Gravity Management, which last month hired a trio of new managers, reps a roster of actors, writers, directors and producers working in film and television.
The company was founded by Eric and Mark Williams, who respectively oversee Zero Gravity management and production divisions. The company is responsible for films like Beasts of No Nation, as well as such acclaimed series as Ozark and Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker.
