“American Pickers” star Mike Wolfe and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were hospitalized in Tennessee after a scary car crash heading into the weekend.
Wolfe shared the news via his Instagram stories on Saturday.
“By the grace of God, we’re both safe and okay,” he wrote. “We are both receiving excellent care, and while Leticia is still in the hospital, she is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time, and we appreciate all of your love (and) prayers. God bless.”
Wolfe shared a picture of the blue car they were in that revealed just how smashed in the front end was.
“It’s been a rough nite, but now there’s light at the end of the tunnel,” he wrote. “I truly believe in the power of group players. Thank you to all of you that have sent them to us.”
Entertainment Weekly said that Cline also shared some updates to her Instagram on Saturday, and it sounds like she was pretty beat up in the crash.
“Hopefully I get surgery tomorrow,” she wrote. “Broken jaw (in a few places), broken ribs, sternum, collapsed lung, and a lot of swelling on my spine. My mouth will be wired shut, but I still got my brain, and that’s all that matters.”
She shared a photo with that of herself lying in a hospital bed with a neck brace on. Wolfe is also lying in a hospital bed next to hers.
Wolfe did not provide many details regarding his injuries, but “American Pickers” fans will surely be keeping an eye on the beloved show’s frontman and his recovery.
