Smartphone brands, well, at least some, occasionally have a habit of launching special edition phones in a move to boost sales and target the niche audience. One such phone is the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones edition, which is now teased to launch soon. Though the popular HBO TV show concluded, the company wants to keep it in your memories with this special edition model. However, while we wait for the official reveal, an alleged hands-on video has leaked online, ruining the experience of seeing it for the first time.
Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones edition is launching soon
Realme has partnered with Warner Bros. for the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Edition. It’s going with the tagline “Own your real power.” It’s reported that the company is giving a twist to the color-changing technology. The dragon fire-inspired design will reportedly change from black to red when warmed up, celebrating the rebirth of the “mother of dragons” Daenerys Targaryen.
The teaser images hint that the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones edition will have black and gold accents with “nano-engraved dragon motifs.” The handset will come with a limited-edition gifting box, inspired by the dragon egg wooden box given to Daenerys Targaryen during her wedding. This will include a miniature replica of Westeros, a phone stand modeled after the Iron Throne, and collectible cards offering insights into the houses of Westeros.
The special edition will get Ice and Fire-themed UI customization. There’ll be two new filters in the camera: the Kingdom and the Northland filters.
The leaked hands-on video takes away all the fun
While all the teaser images had us curious, the leaked hands-on video takes away the fun before the official announcement. The Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones edition, as said, gets black and gold accents throughout. The front is occupied by a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter and a curved display. The frame of the phone is gold.
The complete action happens on the back. There’s a frame separating the camera layout and the rest of the back panel. The bottom edge of this frame has an “Fire and Blood” engraving. The triple camera sensors are in the same location as the regular model, but with gold accents again. We see the ‘Game of Thrones’ text right beside the camera layout. There’s also the House Targaryen emblem in gold on the back.
