Jason Blum To Receive Milestone Award at 2026 Producers Guild Awards

Jason Blum will be honored with the Milestone Award on behalf of the Producers Guild of America. Blum will accept the award at the 37th Annual Producers Guild Awards on Feb. 28, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
“I’m moved to be recognized by my peers with this year’s Milestone Award,” said Blum in a press release. “Fifteen years ago, I was a struggling independent producer, and I could never have imagined receiving an honor like this. I’m grateful to Stephanie, Donald, and the PGA for this recognition.”
A two-time Primetime Emmy Award-winning producer, Blum founded Blumhouse, a film, television and gaming company centering around the horror genre. In 2024, Blumhouse merged with James Wan’s Atomic Monster, producing nearly $10 billion in the worldwide box office.
“Jason Blum has redefined what’s possible in independent filmmaking, proving that bold vision and creative ingenuity can create global cultural touchstones, even with modest resources,” said Producers Guild of America Presidents Stephanie Allain and Donald De Line. “Through Blumhouse, he has championed fearless storytellers, nurtured fresh voices, and established a body of work that spans some of the most successful and inventive films and series of our time. We are proud to recognize his remarkable contributions with the Milestone Award.”
The PGA’s Milestone Award honors individuals or teams who have made historic contributions to the entertainment industry. Previous recipients include Donna Langley, James Cameron, Kathleen Kennedy and more.
The 2026 Producers Guild Awards Event Chairs are Mike Farah and Joe Farrell. This year’s awards are produced by Anchor Street Collective, with Branden Chapman is executive producer, and Carleen Cappelletti is co-executive producer.
