NEET UG Success Story: Tribal Girl Form West Bengal Cracks Exam Without Coaching

This year, a child from the Banbasti area of Kalchini block in Alipurduar district in West Bengal has cleared the NEET exam. Her name is Jemina Narzinari. She is set to study medicine for the first time outside her area. In education, there is no substitute for talent and hard work. This student from Banbasti area has proved the same.
Jemina hails from East Santhali. Despite challenging circumstances and financial constraints, Jemina has passed the NEET exam and is on her way to pursuing a medical degree. Her ambition is to become a doctor and offer free services to her community.
It is noteworthy that this is her first success in the NEET exam. The residents of Alipurduar take pride in Jemina. Due to her financial situation, she prepared by watching YouTube videos on her mobile. “We do not have any coaching centres here to prepare for NEET or similar exams. I had to rely on my mobile to study. My parents struggled a lot for me. I needed coaching, but due to our financial situation, I studied only on my mobile. Despite many problems, I did not give up, and finally, I succeeded,” Jemina told News18 Bengali.
Students like Jemina are showcasing a new horizon in their challenging lives. Seeing her success, locals hope that more students in the area will achieve similar success. Jemina, who passed the NEET exam, will study at MJN Medical College, Cooch Behar.
