Chinese Content Creator Passes Away After His ‘Ultralight Aircraft’ Crashes Mid-Livestreaming! Viral

Imagine the horror that unfolded after hundreds of excited social media followers watched a man DIE mid-livestreaming! A 55-year-old Chinese man, Tang Feiji, passed away tragically- while he was livestreaming his flight on an ‘ultralight aircraft’ that he reportedly purchased for approximately $49,000 (approximately 350,000 Chinese Yuan). The live stream first showed Feiji calmly controlling the aircraft at a certain height; however, the video then turned into a nightmare after it showed the aircraft crashing. The aircraft reportedly caught fire as soon as it hit the ground, while the influencer was pronounced dead at the scene, as per a state-run news agency, China News Service (CNS) and the Cover News. The incident unfolded on September 27 in central China’s Jiange County, whereas the app where he was live-streaming the entire thing was Douyin, a Chinese app. As per media reports, what had raised concerns even before the tragedy struck was that the man believed that he had mastered the controls of the aircraft after just 6 hours of practice. The aircraft reportedly had the capacity to reach 2,000 feet in height, with a speed of 60 mph. The video further showed him flying the craft without a helmet. As soon as the reports of the accident went viral, the influencers’ fans and followers began to express their grief. Times Now could not confirm the authenticity of the post. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Extreo_’. The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 3K views from people. “Chinese influencer Tang Feiji, 55, dies mid-livestream while piloting his helicopter,” the post read.
