Bollywood fans are in for a nostalgic mix of fun and frights as Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan reunite on screen after 17 years for Priyadarshan’s highly anticipated horror-comedy Haiwaan. The film’s first schedule, shot amidst the scenic landscapes of Ooty, has just wrapped, and the lead trio was recently spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina Airport. Both the stars looked effortlessly stylish.
In a video that surfaced on Instagram, Akshay, Saif, and actress Saiyami Kher were seen exiting the airport with bright smiles, clearly in high spirits after a successful shoot. Before heading to their car, the trio took a moment to pose for the paparazzi stationed outside the airport.

Reflecting their playful camaraderie, all three stars coordinated in shades of blue. Akshay Kumar kept it casual in a blue-and-white striped baggy shirt paired with black jeans, while Saif Ali Khan looked effortlessly cool in a solid blue tee and icy-blue jeans. Saiyami Kher opted for a sporty-chic look with a black tee, blue jacket and grey jeans.

Akshay Kumar And Saif Ali Khan’s Haiwaan
Directed by Priyadarshan, the upcoming thriller could be a Hindi remake of the 2016 Malayalam film Oppam, starring Mohanlal. The original film, which was partially inspired by Martin Scorsese’s 1991 classic Cape Fear and the 2011 Korean thriller Blind, is a key reference for this speculation. Haiwaan will be produced by KVN Productions in collaboration with Thespian Films and jointly produced by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn.
In the film, Akshay Kumar will reportedly take on the role of the villain in Haiwaan, and Saif will portray a visually impaired character in the film. He confirmed the same with excitement, stating, “Yes, I am doing a film with Priyadarshan next. I play a blind guy. Very exciting,” reported Bollywood Hungama.
Haiwaan promises a mix of horror and laughter that fans have been eagerly waiting for. With the first schedule now complete, excitement around the film is only set to grow.
Akshay Kumar And Saif Ali Khan’s Cinematic Front
The actor is currently counting down the days until the release of his upcoming comedy entertainer Jolly LLB 3. Bringing together Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla, the film is set to release on September 19. The courtroom drama, backed by Star Studio18 and brought to life by writer-director Subhash Kapoor, also features Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao and Gajraj Rao.
Fans will also see him in Bhooth Bangla. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is set to release in theatres on April 2, 2026. Adding to his fun-filled lineup, Akshay will also reprise his role as Raju in the comedy franchise Hera Pheri 3.
Saif Ali Khan, on the other hand, will reprise his role as antagonist Bhaira in action-thriller Devara: Part 2. Made under the direction of Koratala Siva, the film will include unpredictable twists this time. The film also stars Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
