Simone Biles to Immediately Meet Coach Cecile Landi After Making Personal Announcement on Monday
Simone Biles may be the most decorated gymnast in history, but even the ‘Queen of Flips’ needs an escape from the spotlight. Between Olympic triumphs, brand collaborations, and advocacy work, her rare vacations have become a window into how she recharges. But this time, her work vacation will reunite her with the former Olympian, Cecile Landi.
Recently, a video has been going viral that shows the ‘Queen of Flips’ announcing her next destination. She said, “Hi, I’m Simone Biles. And I’m very excited to announce that starting on October 6, I’ll be in Buenos Aires City for a few days, as it has been chosen as the 2027 World Capital of Sports. I’ll be giving a clinic and also touring the city. I can’t wait to see you all.” But what’s really going to happen in Buenos Aires?
On the 8th of October, Biles will give a motivational talk on ‘The Power of Believing’ at the City Government Headquarters. The next day, she will meet her former coach, Cecil Landi, at the Olympic Park in Vila Soldati. That’s the spot where they’ll lead the gymnastics clinic, organized by the City Sports Secretariat. This program is aimed at giving local young talents an opportunity to learn from one of the best in the world. It’s slated to highlight the legacy of the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games.

Simone Biles spills on her ‘all the Bs’ vacations
On 7th August 2025, Biles had a brief conversation with the team for The Olympics Podcast. Therein, she revealed that her attention deficit hyperactivity disorder often forces her to work on vacations. Recently, she has worked with ‘Friends of the Children Foundation’, ‘Make a Wish Foundation’, Athleta, and others. But when she was asked about her post-2024 Olympic vacation spots, Biles said, “Oh my God, okay… So, I went to Belize, I went to Bahamas, I went to BVI. Oh, it’s all the Bs!” And now she’s going to add another B to the list.

But if we count her work vacations, there are a lot of other destinations that she has covered. Simone Biles continued, “And then the other ones are work, but I do save a couple of days, especially from traveling overseas, like Hong Kong and Madrid, just so I get to explore. So, I guess those are mini work vacations. So, quite a few. And still a couple more work vacations coming up.”
