CLEVELAND, Ohio — Get some cattitude and go to Cleveland’s I-X Center on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11-12, for the CFA International Cat Show & Expo. From pedigreed showstoppers to rescue undercats, the I-X Center will host more than 15,000 whisker enthusiasts.
The true cat’s pajamas are the rescue organizations. More than a dozen groups are teaming up — not competing — to showcase more than 100 adoptable cats and kittens looking for fur-ever homes. Instead of scratching for attention, these rescues are proving collaboration is the real catnip, offering visitors the chance to swap “aww”s for adoptions.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a CFA International Cat Show without pedigreed glamour. More than 40 breeds — from Maine Coon giants to hairless Sphynx charmers — will strut, pose and paw-sitively dazzle in front of international judges.

Entertainment for the weekend is the cat’s whiskers. Highlights include Cat-aoke with Nathan the Cat Lady and Sterling “TrapKing” Davis; claws-out comedy from Drennon Davis; the viral beats of IAmMoshow the Cat Rapper; and even a rock-out session from KooKoo Live.
Add in expert talks from Steve Dale and Dr. Petra Černá, plus Cleveland’s own influencer Lambo Licia, and you’ve got a weekend packed with purr-sonality.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets ($35/adults) are available online, with options for a VIP pass, weekend pass or single-day admission. Kids under 4 get in free.
Be a cool cat — and don’t bring a cat to the expo.
