Riyadh, October 27 (QNA) - The ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative Conference kicked off Monday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, under the theme "The Key to Prosperity." The conference will continue until October 30. The conference attracts more than 8,000 participants and 650 prominent speakers through 250 panel discussions. The three-day conference features a variety of sessions addressing vital topics such as the impact of artificial intelligence and robotics on productivity, wealth creation amidst growing inequality, the geoeconomic impacts of resource scarcity, demographic shifts reshaping the future workforce, and strategies for balancing economic growth and environmental sustainability. Over the coming days, heads of state, sovereign wealth funds, senior executives, and leaders in the fields of technology, energy, healthcare, climate, finance, and culture will participate in high-level discussions that will shape the future of global growth, investment, and human progress. The conference began on Monday with closed-door sessions to discuss and exchange ideas and experiences with a number of thinkers and experts. These sessions addressed the contributions of carbon accounting innovation in finding a way to measure corporate climate performance, the infrastructure of cryptocurrencies and their role in defining the global financial system, quantum computing and generating returns, and investing in leadership for the future.
