The 71st National Film awardees were announced on August 1, creating significant buzz ahead of the ceremony scheduled for September 23 (today) at 4 pm at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. About today’s 71st National Film Awards event at the Vigyan Sabha The 71st National Film Awards is scheduled for 4 p.m. on September 23, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu will present the awards, while honouring the artists in films released in 2023. Audience can watch the ceremony live on YouTube via the official DD News Channel, with the broadcast beginning at 3 p.m. It will follow up the winners walking the red carpet and receiving their awards on stage.
