iPhone 17 launch is done and dusted but that does not mean Apple is done with new products for 2025. We saw the new iPhone Air along with the premium 17 Pro models and that new orange colour. Apple also unveiled the new Apple Watches as well as the AirPods Pro 3 version with health features.
But as schedules go, the company usually has one more big unveiling planned after the iPhone launch in September, and there is a good chance that we might see not one but multiple products announced in the next few months. With the iPhones out there in the market, Apple is likely to shift focus on bringing these new products.
The new Mac/iPad silicon should be part of the next event in 2025. Apple did that for the M4 series in October last year, and history is likely to repeat itself with the M5 version.
And with the M5 we could see the new iPad Pro variant running on the latest chip. iPad Pro M4 was the initiation into the M4 series last year, and the M5 iPad Pro could once again hog the headlines if it does get a similar launch timeline.
The M5 Pro MacBook version could still be in Apple’s launch roadmap for 2025 but we might have to wait a little longer to see the new product from the official channels.
Apple AirTags 2 was not part of the iPhone 17 launch event this month but it should be on the shortlist for the company’s big event.
The most-premium Apple wireless headphone was not on the launch list for September 9 or any other event in 2025 but we still have some hope. Apple upgraded the Max to USB C recently but a major overhaul is not part of the company’s strategy just yet.
The M4 chipset came out last year and we got the MacBook Air M4 version in 2025 but could Apple spring a surprise and introduce both the new M5 Macs in the same year?
