50% off Soundcore by Anker P20i earbuds

On a typical day at Post Wanted, it’s not unheard of for one of us to recommend the Apple AirPods.
Multiple members of our team own a pair, and with the recent drop of the Apple AirPods 3, I’m sure it won’t be long before I see those everywhere, too. Still, I can’t bring myself to jump on the bandwagon when the Soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds exist. Yes, they’re really that good.
Along with being $200 less, they’re also waterproof, fast charging, and have AI-enhanced calling, so you can use your ‘indoor voice’ even when you’re talking outside. Better still, they’re now 50% off ahead of October Prime Day (announced to take place Oct. 7 through Oct. 8, but early deals are already live).
Soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds
Truth be told, I don’t understand much when it comes to the technology behind headphones, but I can tell you that it was love at first listen the first time I tried Soundcore’s Life Q30 over-the-ear headphones. When I tell you that those things picked up every sub-bass frequency that I had never detected in music tracks I had heard a hundred times, I’m not kidding.
Naturally, when P.J. McCormick, our senior commerce deals writer, gave the Soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds a shoutout (ironically, in one of his AirPod stories), I knew I needed to grab a pair. Could a pair of cheap (yeah, I said it) earbuds be just as good as the over-ear pair I loved? More importantly, could they eradicate my AirPod curiosity, saving me more than $200 in the process? Yes, yes, and yes.
Soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds: The Details
Now, if you own the Apple AirPods, you know that they deliver high-fidelity sound, active noise cancellation, personalized spatial sounds — all exciting things. But Soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds offer lots of bells and whistles, too, making them, in my opinion, a formidable alternative for folks who have other things they’d rather drop $200 on.
Soundcore by Anker 20i Tre Wireless Earbud specs:
These earbuds have a 10mm driver, which delivers the type of bass reminiscent of that expensive subwoofer you made your dad install into your dinky 2004 Honda after “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” came out.
Super fast charging: If you charge these babies in their carry case for 10 hours, expect 30 hours of reliable play. Don’t have that time? No sweat, a 10-minute charge will give you 2 hours of listening time. Honestly, I’d say longer, because I’ve had these for a few months and have charged them less than 5 times.
Water-resistant design: This is self-explanatory, but you’ve got to love earbuds that can handle sweaty workouts, as well as unexpected downpours.
These have a ‘Single Earbud’ mode, allowing you to turn one earbud off so you can easily hear your surroundings. This makes them perfect for the office and other places (think the subway or street) where you want to tune out but need to stay alert.
AI-Enhanced microphones: Again, perfect for the office or coffee houses, or really any place you need to take a call, but don’t want to shout your business to every person in the room. Seriously, I’ve had ASMR-worthy, whisper-quiet convos with these things, and no one on the other line has ever asked, “Can you repeat that?”
Customization through the app, including 22 EQ presets: Okay, I’m not really an app person, but for those who are, you’ll love the one that works with this, which allows you to personalize your listening experience even more. Whether you prefer a little more tickle in your treble or, like me, like bass that rivals your heartbeat when a hot, non-problematic man walks by, there’s a preset for that.
Lightweight design and comfortable fit: This, next to the quality sound, was the reason I gave the Soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds a go (plus, their price). While I love my over-ears, they’re too big to bring when I’m heading to a date or show. These earbuds, however? Perfect size, fitting easily in my jacket’s pocket or purse for when I need them on the train ride home.
While they’re a bargain at the retail price of $40, they’re a must-have at 50% off. I love them as the single set of earbuds I own, but I can also see them being good as one’s “extra pair,” if your current earbuds get lost. They also make a great gift, and at their current price, I think a few of my lifers will be receiving them as stocking stuffers this year.
Sure, when the day comes that our team needs to put the Apple AirPods 3 to the test, I’ll totally be down. But, for now, I’m staying true to Soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds, the headphones of frugal-chic music lovers everywhere. The way they’re flying off the shelves at Amazon for early October Prime Day (currently 6,000 this month), I’m not the only one.
