The San Francisco 49ers are expected to have fullback Kyle Juszczyk available for Sunday’s NFC West showdown against the Arizona Cardinals. Juszczyk suffered a concussion early in Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints and did not return. He and defensive back Siran Neal have been navigating the league’s concussion protocol this week.
NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco reports that neither player wore the no-contact jerseys on Friday, which they wore during the Wednesday and Thursday practices. That signals that they have reached the final stage of the NFL’s return-to-play process.
“It looks as if FB Kyle Juszczyk and DB Siran Neal have received full clearance out of the concussion protocol,” Maiocco shared.
