The competitive landscape of the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut, WWE, features a roster of major names and top stars. Unfortunately, there are not enough spots for every superstar on live television programming and creative storylines, leading to multiple names being underutilised in the process. However, ever since Tony Khan founded All Elite Wrestling in 2019, many wrestlers now have a major alternative to take their careers to the next level. Witnessing the WWE superstars' journey over the years, here are the top four names who should jump ship to AEW in 2026.#4. GiuliaGiulia was touted to become the next major breakout star in WWE, following her debut in NXT last year. She dominated the Black and Grey brand and even became the Women's Champion. This led to her main roster call-up, and she became a part of the SmackDown roster. However, since that time, the Beautiful Madness' momentum has been nowhere close to what it was during her NXT stint or time in Japan. Even as the WWE United States Champion, Giulia has not been able to create a significant impact due to being highly underutilised. This could lead to her signing with AEW next year in her quest to climb to the top of the mountain.#3. Shinsuke NakamuraShinsuke Nakamura has been constantly delivering spectacular in-ring performances and captivating moments in WWE for almost a decade. In doing so, he won multiple championships and accolades. However, the King of Strong Style has not been a part of top storylines, except for the time he feuded with AJ Styles on the road to WrestleMania 34. Nakamura's potential being underutilised for years could be the trigger for him to jump ship to AEW to find the success that has majorly evaded him during his run in the TKO-led company.#2. Austin TheoryAustin Theory was once perceived as one of the future top stars. Alongside possessing athleticism, in-ring acumen, and physical stature, Theory was paired with former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, given major title runs, and even won a WrestleMania match over John Cena in 2023. Despite all his success, Theory has been absent from their television programming majorly this year, ending his alliance with Grayson Waller. With things no longer in favor of Austin Theory, a move to AEW in 2026 could be the resurgence his career needs to become a top name in the industry.#1. BayleyBayley is one of the top WWE pioneers who revolutionized women's wrestling alongside her peers, including Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair, in the global juggernaut. While all three superstars are marquee names, Bayley is not on the same level as them, despite winning multiple titles and accolades. Much like her best friend, Sasha Banks (now known as Mercedes Mone) did, The Role Model could also sign with AEW next year and have a similar run, with a veteran stating that Mone might be convincing her to make the move. This could take her popularity and fame to unprecedented heights, while also giving her an opportunity to work with the reigning TBS champion again in her wrestling career.
