4 Games Leaving PlayStation Plus in October 2025

4 Games Leaving PlayStation Plus in October 2025

Four games are being removed from the PlayStation Plus catalog in October 2025. September was a busy month for PlayStation Plus subscribers, with several great games being added to Sony’s subscription-based gaming service. These titles included Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley, and Viewfinder.
Games are removed from PlayStation Plus as often as they are added, and an initial list of titles leaving the service has just been shared by the European PS Store (via PlayStation Lifestyle). The games in question will vanish from PlayStation Plus in the middle of October. More titles will likely be added to the departures as they are confirmed.

Everything Leaving PS Plus Next Month
These are the four games leaving PS Plus in October 2025:
Battlefield 1
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition
The Last Clockwinder
Tour de France 2023
Battlefield 1 was first released by DICE in 2016, and shifted the franchise’s usual historical setting to World War 1 — a period that isn’t explored that often in the modern FPS genre. It earned high praise at the time of its release and was nominated for several awards thanks to its novel setting and polished presentation.
Pontoco’s The Last Clockwinder was released for the PlayStation 5 in 2023, almost a year after its initial launch on PC and Meta Quest. Using VR and a magical pair of Clockwider’s gloves, the player solves puzzles on a quest to restore the ancient Clocktower. Lastly, Tour de France 2023 simulated the real-life bicycle race with 21 real-world courses.
It’s Terrible Timing For Ghostbusters To Be Leaving
PS Plus Is Losing Ghostbusters Right Around Halloween Time
One of the more notable games on this list of soon-to-be removed PlayStation Plus games is Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition, the updated re-release of IllFonic’s asymmetrical online multiplayer title. Players create their own custom Ghostbuster and compete to either capture a ghost haunting the map or spread supernatural mischief as the hunted specter.
Its imminent removal from PlayStation Plus might leave a few gamers scratching their heads, as it coincides with the start of the Halloween season. Fans of Ghostbusters or just horror-themed games in general might be tempted to try out Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed during this spooky season, only to find it no longer a part of the PS Plus catalog.
