As many as 378 public grievance applications were received during the district-level Janata Darshan organised in Kalghatgi of Dharwad district on Tuesday. Some applications were resolved on the spot and others were forwarded to officials concerned to be looked into. District in-charge Minister Santosh Lad instructed officials to clear all pending applications as soon as possible. A notification said that a total of 378 applications have been received - one from the Agriculture Department, six from the Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, three from the Backward Classes Welfare Department, 24 from the School Education and Literacy Department, nine from the Social Welfare Department, five from the Women and Child Welfare Department, five from the Energy Department, one from the Finance Department, one from the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department, 14 from the Health and Family Welfare Department, one from the Higher Education Department, one from the Home Department, 60 from the Housing Department, six from the Kannada and Culture Department, six from the Labour Department, seven from the Minor Irrigation Department, four from the Public Works Department, 121 from the Revenue Department, 68 from the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, two from the Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Department, seven from the Transport Department and 26 from the Urban Development Department.
