37% of marriages are breaking due to mismatched horoscopes… This is the shocking revelation of research by three BHU professors.

BHU Professors’ Shocking Research: Three professors from Banaras Hindu University have made a significant revelation after six months of research. They have attributed the breakdown of marriages to incompatibility of horoscopes. Varanasi: A new research report from the Department of Astrology at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Uttar Pradesh has revealed shocking revelations about modern marriages. The six-month study by three professors and two research scholars found that 37 percent of marriages in the country are breaking down because the horoscopes of the bride and groom are not properly matched. According to the report, marriages conducted without proper planetary influences are leading to serious consequences, such as love affairs, domestic violence, and murder. In fact, in recent times, reports of the deterioration of family relationships and social fabric have been continuously emerging. From the Muskan case in Meerut to the Jyoti Maurya controversy, these controversies have continuously heated up the atmosphere and have also raised questions about the sacred institution of marriage. Considering these issues, the findings of the team of research professors from BHU during their six-month research are astonishing. How was the research conducted? Professors Vinay Pandey, Ashutosh Tripathi, and Amit Kumar Mishra of the Department of Astrology at BHU, along with researcher Ganesh Prasad and Nepali PhD student Rodna Ghinre, conducted this study. The research took six months to complete. Data was collected on two levels. First, case studies were conducted from couples across the country who visited BHU’s astrology outpatient department. Second, researchers were sent to 12 districts in the state to select 250 couples who had divorced within three years of marriage. The researchers asked the families three key questions: whether horoscopes were matched before the wedding. Was the marriage conducted despite any planetary defects? Were traditional customs and traditions fully followed during the wedding? Results of the Research The results of the research clearly revealed that in 37 percent of cases, horoscope matching was incomplete or incorrect. In 63 percent, traditional methods and auspicious times were ignored. In this regard, Prof. Vinay Pade says that horoscope matching is based on planetary alignment, not just on the qualities. Professor Pandey said that nowadays people marry for show. They are busy with photoshoots and ignore chanting mantras and planetary matching. As a result, relationships are breaking down, and husbands and wives are even killing each other. He explained that along with Ashtakoot (matching of qualities), planetary matching is equally important. Marriages become unstable due to planetary imbalance Prof. Vinay Pandey said that matching 32 qualities between a boy and a girl does not mean that the planets are compatible. A planetary imbalance can lead to marriages becoming unstable later on. Meanwhile, Professor Shatrughan Tiwari said that in the pursuit of modernity, people are forgetting traditions. Professor Shatrughan Tripathi, who was present at the seminar, said that in the name of becoming modern, people are ignoring horoscopes and auspicious times. He said that marriage is a sacrament and cannot be considered a contract. Prof. Tiwari said that nowadays people decide the auspicious time based on hotel bookings, not the almanac. He said that at least 18 of the 36 qualities must match in a marriage. Otherwise, planetary conflicts can lead to mental distance and discord between the couple. Reasons Revealed in Research BHU research found that several common reasons behind failed marriages include ignoring planetary defects such as Manglik Dosha, Nadi Dosha, and Gana Dosha. Furthermore, simply counting the Gunas (qualities) in horoscope matching and ignoring planetary positions is also a factor. Incomplete chanting of mantras during marriage rituals is also a factor. Setting wedding dates based on hotel bookings or the photographer’s convenience, rather than an auspicious time, is also contributing to marriage breakdowns. Professors Offered Suggestions During the program, professors offered several suggestions regarding marriage. They recommended making horoscope matching mandatory before marriage. They recommended thoroughly examining the planets and houses. They recommended determining the auspicious time based on the almanac, not the hotel calendar. They recommended conducting marriage rituals with the full rituals; chanting mantras and performing havans should not be a mere formality. They recommended first addressing Manglik Dosha and other planetary imbalances before the marriage can be solemnized. Researchers from 15 Indian states, as well as Nepal, Singapore, and Dubai, participated in the seminar at BHU. The program was hosted by Maa Sharda Jyotishdham Research Institute, Indore.
