3 WWE stars seemingly unhappy with their booking

While some WWE stars are happy with being consistently featured on RAW or SmackDown, what happens during that time can be polarizing. If a star always loses, it reveals their spot in the hierarchy of performers.Performers like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and others will win most of their matches and are rarely pinned. Most stars don't enjoy that treatment. This can often disappoint some wrestlers and their fans, looking for a change. The next three WWE stars are seemingly unhappy with their booking for different reasons.#3. Randy Orton is on and off WWE programmingRandy Orton is a 14-time Champion in WWE, but his best days are behind him. It's a big reason he's more of a part-time performer in 2025 than a full-time star like Cody Rhodes. The Viper may or may not be content with his current spot, but he received a title shot against John Cena this year. He also made the finals of King of the Ring for the second year in a row.Orton's wife, Kim, recently expressed her displeasure with his booking, agreeing with a social media post claiming The Legend Killer has been excluded from big PLEs in 2025.#2. Drew McIntyre has been vocal on SmackDownThis situation could be in a storyline, or it could possibly be a bit of reality bleeding into promos. It's no secret that the top athletes in any sports promotion get passes for missteps while those lower on the totem pole don't get the same treatment. That's been Drew McIntyre's reasoning during his feud with Cody Rhodes. Rhodes brushes off whatever The Scottish Warrior says, even if there are grounds behind the points.Rhodes has also cheated a few times to keep the title, but WWE commentators laud him for doing whatever it takes to win.If McIntyre did this, he'd be vilified for his actions. The fact that he keeps falling short in title matches could also lead to frustration with his booking.#1. LA Knight keeps falling shortWhile Jey Uso was rising in popularity on RAW, LA Knight was doing the same on SmackDown. Both stars won mid-card titles in WWE, but Jey was pushed further, winning both the 2025 Royal Rumble and the World Heavyweight title. It felt like The Megastar should have won a major title by now due to the similar treatment, but that hasn't been the case since moving to RAW. He's repeatedly come up short in big matches despite not being pinned. The Yeet Master was pinned more than once in matches with title opportunities on the line, yet challenged for the belt at Saturday Night's Main Event. Knight fell cleanly to Bron Breakker in his last televised match before the show.During his entrance, he held up a fan sign reading "We Want LA Knight, not Jey." He then mouted "Can't argue with that," to the camera, which would be in character for any star. It could also be interpreted as unhappiness with booking.
