AUSTIN (KXAN) — The MICHELIN Guide released its second annual Texas restaurant selection listing three new restaurants to receive a star. The new one-star restaurants are Isadore in San Antonio, Mamani in Dallas and Nicōsi in San Antonio. “This year’s Texas selection emphasizes the many talents across your communities who continue to rise above with culinary innovation and passion that is palpable,” said Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the MICHELIN Guide. Eighteen Texas restaurants have been added to the MICHELIN Guide since last year with seven in Austin — more than any other Texas city. Four Texas restaurants received MICHELIN's Green Star that "honors restaurants that are pioneers in sustainable gastronomy," according to MICHELIN. Three of those are in Austin.
