    3 takes on the Creighton women's basketball schedule

    With the Big East releasing its full women’s basketball slate, the Creighton women now know their full schedule for the 2025-26 season.
    Three takes on CU’s slate, including the Big East games:
    Where’s UConn?
    The defending national champions will play the Bluejays inside CHI Health Center Jan. 11, one day after the men host potential Final Four squad St. John’s, making for one heck of a weekend in downtown Omaha. The CU women then visit UConn Feb. 11. That contest is sandwiched between two home games Marquette and Villanova.
    If you’re looking for a key stretch in the Bluejay women’s season, that’d be it. Those teams are, consistently, among the best in the Big East.
    Holiday homestand
    Starting with the Dec. 7 game Tulsa and extending through the Dec. 22 game with Seton Hall, CU will play five games in the city. One of those will be at Baxter Arena when Omaha hosts the Bluejays, but it still means a young team, with six freshmen, can complete their first semester in school and get several weeks in familiar surroundings.
    Given that six of Creighton’s first eight games away from Omaha, it’ll be a nice shift.
    Senior Day Feb. 26
    Creighton has two seniors who began their collegiate careers in the program — Kiani Lockett and Kennedy Townsend — and one sixth-year transfer, Grace Boffeli, who had a terrific career at Northern Iowa before an injury sidelined her for most of last season.
    CU will host Providence on Feb. 26 for Senior Day. Creighton has won the last four games vs. the Friars and six of the last seven overall.
