The Watch With Us team is especially excited about these three films, which span supernatural chills to political paranoia — but all guarantee you’ll be on the edge of your seat. Check out these thrillers in October 2025!
‘Stay’ (October 8)
PhD author Kiara (Megalyn Echikunwoke) and MMA fighter Miles (Mo McRae) were madly in love at the beginning of their marriage — but as they pack up their house while preparing to divorce, it’s hard to remember what brought them together in the first place. Things take an unexpected turn, however, when a mysterious force prevents the couple from leaving.
Miles and Kiara must work together to escape in this supernatural thriller that makes an antagonist out of divorce itself. Blending a grounded marriage drama with elements of magic, Stay feels like a fresh spin on the haunted house genre — stream it on Hulu on October 8.

‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ (October 10)
Keira Knightley stars as travel journalist Laura “Lo” Blacklock in this new mystery thriller based on Ruth Ware’s 2016 bestselling novel. When Lo scores the chance to cover a luxury yacht voyage among the ultra-wealthy, it feels like a dream assignment — until she witnesses a body being thrown overboard from the cabin next to hers in the middle of the night.
The crew insists everyone is accounted for and that no one was staying there, leaving Lo in a desperate quest to uncover the truth while being gaslit at every turn. The cast also features Hannah Waddingham, Kaya Scodelario, Guy Pearce and more. The Woman in Cabin 10 will be streaming on Netflix on October 10.
